Learning to sketchnote has been one of the most rewarding things I have done in the past 3 years.
It all started with UXPA UK. I wanted to get involved with the ux community in London and I started attending UXPA’s monthly events. As it is a volunteer run organisation I wanted to help out and Raj, who runs the mentoring scheme, suggested sketchnoting. ‘Sure’ i said…I had never heard of it.
Suddenly I had something to add to the conversations that were happening on twitter and I was part of the event. It was a quick way to start engaging with the UX community in London.
I started doing conferences as well and even presented at the UCD 2014. Late last year, I had my first go at making it into a video:
