Some tools and techniques can (and should) be used for any website and so I decided to that for myself and this is the basic things that you should be doing for your website:
The first thing I wanted to do was to check the overall state of my website. A SEO test site was suggested – seomoz.org – but you could only do the free trial if you entered your credit card details. Not. So the free alternatives I found were rankingtoday.com and the seobook.com. The results:

In the table below you can see the top 10 words used on your page, ordered by their usage frequency. Next to each word is the relative keyword density, that is the percentual value of the word compared to the total words on the page.
Total words*: 81
Targeted keywords, with a density between 2% and 7% of the total: 7 OK

Create a sitemap of your website using xmlsitemap.com and submit it on Google Webmaster Tools. This helps to inform Google of everything your site contains: XML sitemap is a document you can submit to the search engines that help guide them in determining which pages they should crawl and index on your website.
question: How frequently should we submit an xml sitemap? Suggestion = 1xmonth
After generating your sitemap it instructs you to upload it into the domain root folder of your site. Where is that wordpress? How to upload a Sitemap to a free wordpress site, meaning that I a wordpress.com but I am not self-hosted? I just have my own domain?). Well I have raised this with my domain provider (1&1) because I think that I did something wrong when I set up the DNS and I can’t figure it out on my own. To be continued…
Update: 1 might have to change from wordpress.com to wordpress.org.
perhaps the answer is on sitemap google page.
